AZOBD2scanner app for Android requires Bluetooth OBD2 ELM327 to function. ELM327 needs to plug into OBD port in your vehicle and pair with your phone before AZOBD2scanner can access vehicle diagnostics.
There are many ELM327 devices available on the market but the ELM327 from KONNWEI seem to be good from our testing.
Not all sensors supported by vehicle ECUs manufactures. Therefore, some PIDs will not have data. You can look at Service 1, PID 0x01 (0x01 to 0x20) and PID 0x020 (0x21 to 0x40) and PID 0x040 (0x41 to 0x60) to see number of PIDs supported by your vehicle.

Buttons and their meaning.
All Sensors: Here you will find all common sensors that your vehicle supports with live data.
Trouble Code: On this screen, you will have the option to read DTC codes or to clear DTC codes.
Car Info: Information such as voltage, ELM adapter, VIN number, and all the PIDs that your vehicle supported from PID 0 to PID 64.
Read Mileage (odometer): If your vehicle supports this PID, then the mileage will display.
AT Command: The AT commands allow you to enter a PID and read the data that results on screen. For example, if you want to read data of RPM PID ($0C or 12 in decimal), you should enter 010C and then press SEND.
Charts: This is a sensor data chart. On this screen, you can Add/Delete a sensor on the list. To see the list, press on the “Add/Delete” button, and you can select any sensor to add to the chart. More information on the “Sensor Data Chart” screen.
I/M Readiness: This option lets you check your vehicle's READY STATE. More information on the “Check for I/M Readiness” screen.
Dashboard: On this screen, you will see the most important data of your vehicle, such as engine temperature, fuel pressure, and more.
Current Drive Cycle: This option checks for PID 0×41 (last drive cycle) to see the performance of various emissions-related systems. More detail on the “Check Last Drive Cycle” screen.
On this screen, you can READ or CLEAR the DTC. All DTCs will be clear at once.
This screen give you information such as syatem voltage, ELM version,car VIN number and all PIDs that supported by this vehicle.
Note:
Dashboard is monitoring conditions of the vehicle, if any DTC reported, dashboard will notify on screen with number of DTCs.
